Western Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Islamabad - Naran:
Orientation and Introduction in Rawalpindi. You will be supplied with your shalwaar chemise. A long drive to the green and cooler high up in the awesome Kaghan valley and night at Naran.

Day 2: Karimabad:
Through Babusar Pass to raw barren Chilas and then through KKH to Gilgit. From here the Jeep travel to the awesome Hunza valley and night at Karimabad.

Day 3: Karimabad
Full day sightseeing of Karimabad. Visit Baltit Fort which was the old palace of the Mirs of Hunza. Then we visit Altit Fort and village. Altit Fort is a spectacularly sited defensive, overlooking the Hunza river valley. Before sunset we drive by jeep to the view point called Duikar for a panoramic view of the Hunza Valley at sunset. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4: Gupis:
Travel to the Northern Areas connecting route to Chitral with awesome landscape.

Day 5: Shandur Pass:
A camp at 12000 ft. plateau near a lake. In the second week of July, Polo is played at this highest polo ground in the world. En route we stop at Phander Lake which is famous for trout fish.

Day 6, 7: Chitral:
The North Eastern town, a real mix of Afghan and Pakistan. View of Trich Mir 7,708 meters highest peak of Hindu Kush. Explore Garam Chashma: Hot springs from one side and cold streams from other side

Day 8: Garam Chashma:
Explore Garam Chashma meaning 'Hot Springs' and the village: Hot springs from one side and cold streams from other side. Overnight at Guest house.

Day 9,10: Rumbur, Kalash:
Drive to Kalash valley. Discover the unique lifestyle and customs of the Kalash people. Explore village surrounding of Rumbur. Overnight at Guest House. Explore village surroundings and visit Nuristan village.

Day 11, 12: Peshawar:
Travel to Peshawar. Through Malakand Pass, visit Takhti bhai, a buddhist monastery.
Full day sightseeing : visit Peshawar museum, Mohabat khan Mosque built in 1670, Qissa Kawani bazaar, the street of story tellers, Sethi House Museum. Our tour will pass by Bala Hissar Fort, built by Babar in 1526.
Subject to permits granted, view Khunjerab Pass on the border of Afganistan.

Day 13: Islamabad / Rawalpindi:
Return to Islamabad / Rawalpindi. En route visit Taxila. View Faisal Mosque.
